Active Video Surveillance
Security That Detects, Analyses and Responds in Real Time
Protect your home or business with intelligent video surveillance.
Rather than simply recording footage, active video surveillance systems can detect potential threats, send alerts to an operations centre and activate immediate deterrent measures.
Greater security. Fewer false alarms. Faster responses.
What Is Active Video Surveillance?
More Than Cameras. A System That Responds.
Elmar's active video surveillance solution combines:
- Intelligent surveillance cameras
- Video analytics software
- A direct connection to an active operations centre
When suspicious behaviour or a possible intrusion is detected, the system can:
- Detect the event in real time
- Send an immediate alert to the operations centre
- Activate an on-site audible or voice warning
- Support a timely response when required
The aim is to deter intruders before damage occurs.
What is active video surveillance
How Active Video Surveillance Works
Continuous Monitoring
Cameras continuously monitor the protected area and help distinguish relevant movements from harmless events.
Intelligent Video Analytics
Advanced video analysis helps reduce false alarms caused by animals, shadows, rain and changing lighting conditions.
Connection to an Operations Centre
Alerts can be reviewed in real time by qualified operators, helping distinguish potential threats from non-critical events.
Immediate Active Deterrence
When an intrusion is confirmed, the system can issue a voice message or audible warning designed to deter the intruder.
Response Support
Where necessary, the operations centre can initiate the applicable response procedures.
